The LD46 luminescence sensors emit ultraviolet light and detect only visible light converted and reflected from fluorescent objects or marks, independent from the background color and surface. The LD46 sensors can reach a 100mm operating distance and a 2kHz switching frequency, thanks to the UV high-power emission using 6 LEDs. The high power and definition of the LD46 sensor light spot enable the detection of critical targets with a very poor or non-homogeneous or discontinued luminescent level, as for example on raw wood, corrugated carton, fabric, ceramic tiles.
The TL46 contrast sensorseries is characterized by excellent performances in terms of resolution due to a RGB LEDs emission, low response time and high switching speed. The sensor, developed in a sturdy metal housing with standard fixing, is available in 3 different version. TL46-W basic version with 2 set push-buttons and 2 LEDs indicator, TL46-WL standard version has set 3 push-buttons, 4 LEDs indicator and bar graph is also available for manual setting of the threshold and TL46-WLF enhanced version presents a 4-digit display for the setting of the most advanced functions, such as dynamic acquisition of the contrast mark. The sensor reaches the maximum market performances at 30kHz switching frequency.
The TLµ contrast sensor series offers solutions for all detection applications of register marks and other neutral or colored references. The microprocessor-based setting can be either 'Teach-in' using two push-buttons or 'Remote' by cable. The LED emission can be red/green with automatic selection, or white offering the possibility of operating on all contrasts. Models with interchangeable 9mm or 18mm lenses are available. Whereas 22, 28 and 50mm lenses are supplied as accessories. Many different fiber optic models are available. The output is NPN or PNP according to the model, but can always be selected using an internal switch. An analog output proportional to the received light is also present.
The series of TL50 contrast sensors provides the best solution for applications where a cost reduction is required, without refusing excellent detection performances. The optimized optics of these sensors, the RGB LED transmitter with automatic choice of colour and high resolution, enable the detection of minimal colour contrasts in grey scale between print mark and background, or different objects or surfaces. The high resolution does not lead to restrictions of the detection rate - the response time here 33 ms and the switching frequency is 15 kHz.
The draw wire accessory is used with the encoder for length measurement and position control applications. The wire head is fixed to an object, the movement of which rotates the encoder shaft and is thus possible to make measurements of displacement, length, or position up to 5 m of range. The accuracy is given by the ratio between the draw wire drum circumference and the encoder resolution, e.g.:
